Glenn Beck in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pål Gamst, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Low Expectations defense, Morten Haavik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Frøland. The Low Expectations fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Frøland should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Morten Haavik made the kick off in the second half. Morten Haaviks short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Raymond Frøland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Morten Haavik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raymond Frøland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Glenn Beck struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Pål Gamst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Low Expectations. In the 68th minute, Glenn Beck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Gamst was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Raymond Frøland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Haavik, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Frank Stein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match, Dag Hauan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raymond Frøland was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Sølvguttene's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Beck came free, but Pål Gamst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Morten Haavik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymond Frøland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morten Haavik in the 85th minute. After 89 minutes, Emil Mellem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Low Expectations and the Sølvguttene players grew even worse after the yellow card.
