Sølvguttene's Pål Gamst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Gran in the 3rd minute of play. Andreas Gran might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pål Gamst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Gran ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, Sølvguttene's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Gran came free, but Pål Gamst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isak Thygesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Sigurd Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kings Park Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigurd Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Gamst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigurd Lindholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Morten Haavik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christoffer Dyrseth. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Martin Bjørn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Christoffer Dyrseth made a huge save. 26 minutes in the game, Martin Bjørn fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Christoffer Dyrseth having to interfere. In the 27th minute Sølvguttene were awarded a corner. Martin Bjørn went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Kings Park Rangers's Christoffer Dyrseth got control of the ball when Martin Bjørn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Drabløs lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kings Park Rangers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Andreas Gran kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Sigurd Lindholm hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Ronny Sylte fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kings Park Rangers's protests and gave Ronny Sylte a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Kings Park Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Sylte to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morten Haavik to make the kick off. Andreas Gran took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Gamst. Pål Gamst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Christoffer Dyrseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Bjørn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sølvguttene's Morten Haavik in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kings Park Rangers's goalie prevented a goal. Christoffer Dyrseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Bjørn in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Kings Park Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Gran to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sølvguttene's Pål Gamst got control of the ball when Andreas Gran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christoffer Dyrseth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Morten Haavik's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Pål Gamst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Gran in the 83rd minute. In the 95th minute, Ronny Sylte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Sølvguttene players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
