Trond Bragstad was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Jo Øvstebø capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jo Øvstebø really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. With an all-out effort, Midtun Fc's Trond Bragstad threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Johannes Westberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joakim Bø charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Roy Jama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Urdin in the 34th minute of the match. Adrian Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Urdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Jama having to interfere. Roy Jama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Eleder in the 41st minute of play. Trond Bragstad was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Bård Hem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bård Hem really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Octav Stroia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyn Oslo 1896's supporters rose to their feet, but Octav Stroia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Jama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualterio Eleder to strike the kick off in the second half. When Adrian Urdin came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Lyn Oslo 1896 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Urdin couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes in the game, Octav Stroia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roy Jama having to interfere. Frank Tveter struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Trond Bragstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midtun Fc. After 59 played minutes Lyn Oslo 1896 got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Myran. Frank Tveter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyn Oslo 1896 made a substitution. Håkon Haarstad replaced Andreas Jørstad. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Urdin got free with Roy Jama in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joakim Bø hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Midtun Fc got a freekick which was hit by Bård Hem. After 75 played minutes Lyn Oslo 1896 got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Eleder. Lyn Oslo 1896's Trond Bragstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Westberg in the 79th minute of play.
