Spectators: 8437 (Terracing: 6329, Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gualterio Eleder kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Jørstad came free, but Kent Wahlstrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Eleder in the 5th minute of play forced Porto's goalkeeper Kent Wahlstrøm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Preben Riis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trond Bragstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octav Stroia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kent Wahlstrøm having to make a save. Octav Stroia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Adrian Urdin came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Lyn Oslo 1896 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Urdin couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the game, Gualterio Eleder lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Kent Wahlstrøm. Kent Wahlstrøm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Eleder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Porto's Kent Wahlstrøm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Porto from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the game, Thomas Moe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyn Oslo 1896's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porto the free kick. Thomas Moe hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes, Porto's Ludvik Lam shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Trond Bragstad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porto reached it. A collision led to Lyn Oslo 1896 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Octav Stroia hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Preben Riis to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Lyn Oslo 1896's Adrian Urdin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kent Wahlstrøm was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octav Stroia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Kent Wahlstrøm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kent Wahlstrøm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Stroia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Octav Stroia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Kenneth Sara in the 75th minute really tested Trond Bragstad's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jan Honningsvåg in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Trond Bragstad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lyn Oslo 1896 made a substitution. Edvard Ringvold replaced Edvard Myran. If Octav Stroia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kent Wahlstrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Urdin in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Stroia came free, but Kent Wahlstrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyn Oslo 1896's Octav Stroia got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Gualterio Eleder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kent Wahlstrøm. Porto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Eleder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Lyn Oslo 1896 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
