After having played for 4 minutes, Johannes Westberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midtun Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Westberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Westberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kent Wahlstrøm came out and tried to block the shot, but Johannes Westberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Bård Hem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kent Wahlstrøm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johannes Westberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Porto got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Sara. With an all-out effort, Midtun Fc's Kent Wahlstrøm threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Johannes Westberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 32nd match minute, Porto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Reiten to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Westberg in the 35th minute of play forced Porto's goalkeeper Kent Wahlstrøm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Bø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Wahlstrøm having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Jo Øvstebø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midtun Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Jo Øvstebø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Wahlstrøm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Johannes Westberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes Westberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kent Wahlstrøm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jo Øvstebø kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kent Wahlstrøm. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the game, Midtun Fc's Jo Øvstebø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kent Wahlstrøm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Kent Wahlstrøm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Westberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Midtun Fc's Jo Øvstebø got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Johannes Westberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Wahlstrøm was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 60th minute Bård Hem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Wahlstrøm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Westberg kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Midtun Fc's Johannes Westberg fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Kent Wahlstrøm was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Johannes Westberg scored 5-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Wahlstrøm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kent Wahlstrøm came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Midtun Fc's Bård Hem. But to his dismay, Bård Hem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Johannes Westberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midtun Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Westberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Wahlstrøm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Midtun Fc were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Porto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Tveter took the corner. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Johannes Westberg sped through Porto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kent Wahlstrøm. Kent Wahlstrøm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Westberg in the 80th minute of the match. When Joakim Reiten fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porto's protests and gave Joakim Reiten a yellow card for diving instead. Joakim Reiten kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Johannes Westberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kent Wahlstrøm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Westberg took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kent Wahlstrøm. Kent Wahlstrøm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Midtun Fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
