Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars-Olav Hamnes started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Steve Triganza made a precise shot to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal. Melaasberget FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Alf Fredriksson came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the AEK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Fredriksson couldn't finish the play. Lars-Erik Fiksdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Brunes in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Melaasberget FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidar Indergård to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Hans-Kristian Berg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Melaasberget FC's Lars-Erik Fiksdal. Lars-Erik Fiksdal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the game, AEK FC's Hans-Kristian Berg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars-Erik Fiksdal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 21st minute Steve Triganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AEK FC's Steve Triganza in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lars-Erik Fiksdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 35th minute, Hans-Kristian Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Kristian Berg in the 36th minute of play forced Melaasberget FC's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Fiksdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Sindre Westerlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal. Melaasberget FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sindre Westerlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Triganza in the 45th minute of play forced Melaasberget FC's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Fiksdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Melaasberget FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AEK FC were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steve Triganza was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Melaasberget FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Brunes came free, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hans-Kristian Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melaasberget FC's Lars-Erik Fiksdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Kristian Berg in the 57th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Melaasberget FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Espenes to maneuver through the defense. Steve Triganza had several of the Melaasberget FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Lars-Erik Fiksdal as he didn't even see the shot coming. 70 minutes into the match, Hans-Kristian Berg notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Melaasberget FC's Lars-Erik Fiksdal. Lars-Erik Fiksdal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of AEK FC booed when Melaasberget FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Ellingsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Steve Triganza made a precise shot to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal. Melaasberget FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Hans-Kristian Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, Sindre Westerlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal. Lars-Erik Fiksdal came out of the goal and Steve Triganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sindre Westerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Fiksdal having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Melaasberget FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Kristian Berg came free, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded AEK FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Melaasberget FC.
