Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Danny Riemers made the kick off which started today's match. When Heiko Bijl fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niawier Banino SC's protests and gave Heiko Bijl a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DE JONGE TIJGERS booed when Niawier Banino SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heiko Bijl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, DE JONGE TIJGERS's David Anker got a free kick in the 4th minute. DE JONGE TIJGERS's Jelle van Kempen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save DE JONGE TIJGERS from getting a goal against them. Niawier Banino SC's Jimmy Britton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bram Daniels in the 11th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Bram Daniels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DE JONGE TIJGERS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Reinier Wensing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niawier Banino SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinier Wensing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jelle van Kempen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Riemers in the 19th minute of the match. Bram Daniels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Britton having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Niawier Banino SC got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Hoekstra. 30 minutes into the match, Bram Middel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimmy Britton. Niawier Banino SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bram Middel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Riemers in the 34th minute of play forced DE JONGE TIJGERS's goalkeeper Jelle van Kempen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Niawier Banino SC's Danny Riemers in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DE JONGE TIJGERS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute Heiko Bijl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jelle van Kempen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bram Middel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jimmy Britton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bram Middel to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Heiko Bijl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Riemers hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Bram Middel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Britton having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Lex van Zalen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bram Middel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinier Wensing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jelle van Kempen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to DE JONGE TIJGERS getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Mart van Zeist hit a great ball. Andy Bunt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bram Daniels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jimmy Britton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Niawier Banino SC's zone, Bram Daniels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Britton came out of the goal and Bram Daniels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bram Daniels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Jimmy Britton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danny Riemers struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jelle van Kempen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niawier Banino SC.
