DE JONGE TIJGERS's Bram Middel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimmy Britton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Anker's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Bram Middel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Britton was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Bram Middel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jimmy Britton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niawier Banino SC were furious when Heiko Bijl was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The penalty shot was made by Mart van Zeist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Niawier Banino SC's Jimmy Britton. 2-0. Jelle van Kempen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lex van Zalen in the 44th minute of play. David Anker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Britton having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinier Wensing to make the kick off. Jimmy Britton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bram Middel in the 52nd minute of the match. Frits Schokkenbroek kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a little luck, DE JONGE TIJGERS's Jelle van Kempen got control of the ball when Reinier Wensing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bram Daniels took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Britton. Jimmy Britton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 70 minutes into the game, Danny Riemers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niawier Banino SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DE JONGE TIJGERS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Niawier Banino SC's Danny Riemers got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Niawier Banino SC's goalkeeper Jimmy Britton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, DE JONGE TIJGERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonny Rijkaard to maneuver through the defense. David Anker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jimmy Britton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Danny Riemers fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 97th minute Bram Middel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Britton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DE JONGE TIJGERS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
