Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roy Thijsse took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Veltman in the 12th minute of play forced Niawier Banino SC's goalkeeper Jimmy Britton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Danny Riemers fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niawier Banino SC's protests and gave Danny Riemers a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Unit5 booed when Niawier Banino SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Riemers didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Niawier Banino SC's Cláudio Muslera threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danny Riemers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Unit5's Cláudio Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lex van Zalen in the 29th minute of play. Roy Thijsse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Britton having to interfere. Cláudio Muslera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heiko Bijl in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Veltman in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Britton saved Niawier Banino SC from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Danny Riemers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Muslera made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Reinier Wensing sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danny Riemers made a kick off. Roy Thijsse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Britton having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Niawier Banino SC's goalkeeper Jimmy Britton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Veltman. Niawier Banino SC's Jimmy Britton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Thijsse in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Chris Veltman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 72nd minute, Lex van Zalen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roy Thijsse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Britton having to interfere. With a little luck, Niawier Banino SC's Jimmy Britton got control of the ball when Chris Veltman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Heiko Bijl's late challenge caught a Unit5's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heiko Bijl helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Niawier Banino SC got a freekick which was hit by Heiko Bijl. Chris Veltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Veltman came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jimmy Britton could save by the left post. Unit5 were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
