Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 65) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ulises Vimaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes VV Succes got a freekick which was hit by Ted van Dam. Maikel Weinands lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VV Succes! Foeke Hoogstrate hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hanni Landa in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Duarte saved Suttum FC from getting behind. A collision led to Suttum FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ulises Vimaro hit a great ball. Ulises Vimaro came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joeri Koole could save by the left post. Dráusio Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Cremers in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Suttum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Tande to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Gerjan Mos took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Joeri Koole to make any attempt to save it. In the 47th match minute, Suttum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elco Popping to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hanni Landa to make the kick off. When Bruno Svingel fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suttum FC's protests and gave Bruno Svingel a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Svingel kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dráusio Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted van Dam, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 57 minutes of play, VV Succes's Ted van Dam made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráusio Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hanni Landa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dráusio Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes VV Succes got a freekick which was hit by Fabiën Willemsen. Suttum FC's Dráusio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hanni Landa in the 72nd minute of play. Dráusio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Job Roeles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes Suttum FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ted van Dam who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ted van Dam got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dráusio Duarte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 85 minutes, Ulises Vimaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suttum FC and the VV Succes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulises Vimaro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Suttum FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerjan Mos. Ted van Dam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dráusio Duarte made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Suttum FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Esteban Ermano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the VV Succes players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
