The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joeri Koole was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. VV Succes's Joeri Koole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Co Fuchs in the 12th minute of play. Joeri Koole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Xiang Xuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. But to his dismay, Zhao Xiang Xuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 30 minutes into the match, VV Succes's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Xiang Xuan came free, but Joeri Koole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Zhao Xiang Xuan made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joeri Koole was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joeri Koole came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by De Digitale Dribbelaars's Co Fuchs. But to his dismay, Co Fuchs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After some careless play in the VV Succes defense, Co Fuchs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joeri Koole. The VV Succes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joeri Koole should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hanni Landa was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Wim Roorda made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 57thth minute of the game Co Fuchs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VV Succes's Joeri Koole was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berend Stuifzand struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Joeri Koole didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Digitale Dribbelaars. Zhao Xiang Xuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joeri Koole having to interfere. With a little luck, VV Succes's Joeri Koole got control of the ball when Zhao Xiang Xuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joeri Koole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Co Fuchs in the 69th minute of play. Joeri Koole was a little too slow when Co Fuchs got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-10. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Lastur Sabina put in a rough tackle. 76 minutes into the game, one of VV Succes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. VV Succes:s Joeri Koole showed great skill when he stopped Han Xiang Ang:s penalty. Han Xiang Ang scored 0-11 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joeri Koole, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the game, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Co Fuchs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joeri Koole made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. In the 86th minute Esteban Ermano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Rinzema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of VV Succes booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Roorda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Ermano in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregor Rinzema prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joeri Koole made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Israel in the 98th minute. The VV Succes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. De Digitale Dribbelaars were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
