In the 13th match minute, Olympique de Batjax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy De Barros to maneuver through the defense. Maël Brulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphaël Archimbaud in the 15th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Salle got a freekick which was hit by Hakim Desvaux. In the 21st match minute, Salle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazid Capelle to maneuver through the defense. 1-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Brendan Tête elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Brendan Tête could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Franz Mérieau made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Brendan Tête got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Auseklis Cielaviņš blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franz Mérieau having to make a save. After 39 played minutes Salle got a freekick which was hit by Hakim Desvaux. The audience was convinced that Brendan Tête's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franz Mérieau was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Brendan Tête kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Olympique de Batjax getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jimmy De Barros hit a great ball. Hakim Desvaux took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maël Brulin. Olympique de Batjax's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphaël Archimbaud in the 57th minute of play forced Olympique de Batjax's goalkeeper Maël Brulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Brendan Tête left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique de Batjax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bixente Rodier got free with Maël Brulin in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 minutes, Charles-Henri Mahieux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salle and the Olympique de Batjax players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olympique de Batjax's José Sergent was substituted for Jordan Porte. Charles-Henri Mahieux hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Brendan Tête notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Salle's Franz Mérieau. Franz Mérieau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franz Mérieau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Olympique de Batjax fully deserved thier win.
