Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Robart in the 4th minute of play forced Salle's goalkeeper Franz Mérieau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Louis Robart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franz Mérieau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léo Panchout went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bixente Rodier got free with Franck Delarche in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franck Delarche made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Bixente Rodier sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bouzigues booed when Salle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphaël Archimbaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Louis Robart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Mérieau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Travert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Delarche having to interfere. Franz Mérieau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Robart's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Franck Delarche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphaël Archimbaud in the 36th minute of the match. Louis Robart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Franz Mérieau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakim Desvaux's late challenge caught a Bouzigues's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakim Desvaux helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bouzigues booed when Salle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakim Desvaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Travert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yazid Capelle during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Louis Robart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franz Mérieau was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rodolphe Toulet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bouzigues's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolphe Toulet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franz Mérieau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Brian Travert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute, one of Bouzigues:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bouzigues. Hakim Desvaux walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 70 minutes of play, Salle's Brian Travert made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franck Delarche was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 75 minutes, Jean-Christophe Meier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bouzigues and the Salle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cheikh Bocage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cheikh Bocage kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Louis Robart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franz Mérieau having to make a save. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salle's goalkeeper Franz Mérieau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 85 minutes, Matthieu Ly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouzigues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthieu Ly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Louis Robart took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Franz Mérieau to make any attempt to save it. Cheikh Bocage got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Hakim Desvaux was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Salle's Hakim Desvaux got a free kick in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Bouzigues's Louis Robart broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
