An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Iztal in the 17th minute of play forced Olympique de Batjax's goalkeeper Maël Brulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maël Brulin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignatius Abancens went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Håkan Rudkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maël Brulin was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brendan Tête to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Olympique de Batjax's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatius Abancens came free, but Maël Brulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Auseklis Cielaviņš fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique de Batjax's protests and gave Auseklis Cielaviņš a yellow card for diving instead.
