Svenning Stethem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Prag, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 4 minutes of play, Rye BK's Ian Prag made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svenning Stethem was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Rye BK's Svend Alsbro in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zenit's goalie prevented a goal. 15 minutes into the game, Allan Emsvang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johan Thyren. Allan Emsvang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 20 minutes, Kim Bakander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zenit and the Rye BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zenit getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kim Bakander hit a great ball. Svenning Stethem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svend Alsbro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenit's Svenning Stethem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Prag in the 25th minute of play. When Rye BK's Ian Prag in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zenit's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Rye BK booed when Zenit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Emsvang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klement Birkvel kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Svenning Stethem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Prag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Svend Alsbro made the kick off in the second half. Johan Thyren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Emsvang in the 55th minute of the match. Allan Emsvang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Vinsteen hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rye BK's Johan Thyren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esben Saksenborg in the 61st minute of play. When William Havre fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rye BK's protests and gave William Havre a yellow card for diving instead. William Havre kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Zenit's Constantin Schmeltz got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rye BK booed when Zenit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Schmeltz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svend Alsbro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Svenning Stethem having to make a save. Svend Alsbro struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Svenning Stethem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rye BK. In the 78th minute of the match, Svend Alsbro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Svenning Stethem saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Constantin Schmeltz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Svenning Stethem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svend Alsbro in the 85th minute of play. When Ali Vinsteen fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rye BK's protests and gave Ali Vinsteen a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Vinsteen kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Esben Saksenborg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Rye BK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Zenit from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
