The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Volmar Gow got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 27 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volmar Gow in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svenning Stethem saved Zenit from getting behind. After 37 minutes of play, Munkes's Volmar Gow made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svenning Stethem was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42ndth minute of the game Volmar Gow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zenit's Svenning Stethem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Svenning Stethem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrestian Reiff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volmar Gow in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svenning Stethem saved Zenit from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Svenning Stethem came out of the goal and Chrestian Reiff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Munkes booed when Zenit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terkil Landvad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Volmar Gow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Svenning Stethem made a huge save. Kai Nyenstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Svenning Stethem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Munkes's Chrestian Reiff got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zenit's Svenning Stethem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Zenit from getting a goal against them. Munkes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
