A nice corner shot did that Martin Gruenenfelder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dave Mader quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cala's Dave Mader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Teodor in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josep Miquelarena got free with Dave Mader in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mac Karlens short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Dave Mader to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 81 minutes into the match, Cala's goal looked a bit too open when Josep Miquelarena came free, but Dave Mader reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The New England Tea Men players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
