The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Ghițescu got free with Flemming Cavegn in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Lorenzo Hagenbuch put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Flemming Cavegn. In the 14th minute Lorenzo Hagenbuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flemming Cavegn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Nigel Lang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gucci United and the FC Thierachern players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nigel Lang kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Pavel Ghițescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flemming Cavegn. Pavel Ghițescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Flemming Cavegn made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Pavel Ghițescu sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Pavel Ghițescu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Gucci United's Flemming Cavegn. Flemming Cavegn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Hagenbuchs short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Flemming Cavegn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marc Berthod received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Flemming Cavegn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gucci United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yannick Herzog was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Thierachern's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 35 minutes, Pavel Ghițescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Thierachern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Ghițescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Lukasz Drzewucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, FC Thierachern's Yannick Herzog broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Hagenbuch made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Lorenzo Hagenbuch made a precise shot to the right of Flemming Cavegn. Gucci United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Flemming Cavegn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gucci United getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lukasz Drzewucki hit a great ball. If Lorenzo Hagenbuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flemming Cavegn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Berthod in the 62nd minute of the match. FC Thierachern's Stefan Lyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Despland in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Gucci United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veltin Lucciotti to maneuver through the defense. Gucci United's Per Langelier was substituted for Graciano Widenmeier. In the 67th minute, Veltin Lucciotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flemming Cavegn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flemming Cavegn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Gucci United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Lang to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gucci United getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nigel Lang hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Gucci United's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Berthod came free, but Flemming Cavegn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Thierachern's Stefan Lyle got control of the ball when Andre Despland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pavel Ghițescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andre Despland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Stefan Lyle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Hagenbuch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flemming Cavegn was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Nigel Lang hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Stefan Lyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Aldescu in the 91st minute of the match. FC Thierachern were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gucci United for a fine match.
