An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrice de Neys in the 13th minute of play forced BluB FC's goalkeeper Eric Van Buyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luuk Valckenaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richy Roels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kristen Jaspers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luuk Valckenaerts made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Kristen Jaspers sent off a good shot on target. When Patrick Maerschalk fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Vlierzele's protests and gave Patrick Maerschalk a yellow card for diving instead. Patrick Maerschalk kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. BluB FC's Eric Van Buyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrice de Neys in the 32nd minute of play. Fabrice de Neys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Vlierzele's Samuel Van Eijken got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Kristen Jaspers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luuk Valckenaerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richy Roels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fabrice de Neys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrice de Neys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Van Buyten having to interfere. Kristen Jaspers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luuk Valckenaerts didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BluB FC's Richy Roels shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Luuk Valckenaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristen Jaspers in the 85th minute of play. Fabrice de Neys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eric Van Buyten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, BluB FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timmy van haeve fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. SC Vlierzele's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because BluB FC had won, even though SC Vlierzele had held more of the ball.
