When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Kristen Jaspers sped through Football Club Liege's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harold Vloebergh. In the 19th minute, Richy Roels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Football Club Liege's goal looked a bit too open when Richy Roels came free, but Harold Vloebergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieter Alaerts got free with Harold Vloebergh in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BluB FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristen Jaspers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harold Vloebergh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 minutes of play, BluB FC's Kristen Jaspers made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harold Vloebergh was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Football Club Liege's zone, Richy Roels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harold Vloebergh came out of the goal and Richy Roels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruud Schols's late challenge caught a BluB FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruud Schols helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Football Club Liege's Ruud Schols got a free kick in the 60th minute. Richy Roels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Harold Vloebergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to BluB FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Richy Roels hit a great ball. Harold Vloebergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieter Alaerts in the 90th minute of the match. Football Club Liege's Harold Vloebergh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristen Jaspers in the 91st minute of play. Richy Roels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BluB FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
