Mattijs Van Boekost's late challenge caught a BluB FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattijs Van Boekost helped the player get up and apologised. Brent Kesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in BVC ROMY pils's zone, Richy Roels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luc Cockaerts came out of the goal and Richy Roels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregoire Sielens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Eric Van Buyten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, BluB FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brent Kesters came free, but Eric Van Buyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dieter Alaerts's late challenge caught a BVC ROMY pils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dieter Alaerts helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Dieter Alaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kristen Jaspers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to BVC ROMY pils getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Birger Airpoel hit a great ball. Richy Roels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, BVC ROMY pils's Birger Airpoel got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute of the match, Gregoire Sielens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eric Van Buyten was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. BluB FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Gregoire Sielens scored to the left of an out of position Eric Van Buyten, making the score, 0-1. Harald Geldhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luc Cockaerts having to interfere. Luc Cockaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richy Roels, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 84 minutes of play BVC ROMY pils's Mattijs Van Boekost was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to BVC ROMY pils getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mattijs Van Boekost hit a great ball. The BVC ROMY pils players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
