Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Amaury Jooris in the 6th minute of play forced Excelsior Mullem's goalkeeper Roel Van Leemputte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roel Van Leemputte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Wyns's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. If Walter Wyns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roel Van Leemputte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Wyns in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Excelsior Mullem's Bjorn Clijsters got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 17 minutes of play, AFC Madzuly's Walter Wyns made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roel Van Leemputte was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Walter Wyns's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roel Van Leemputte was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Excelsior Mullem's Roel Van Leemputte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Wyns in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Walter Wyns left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Madzuly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 32 minutes of play, AFC Madzuly's Gustav Rousseau made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roel Van Leemputte was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Walter Wyns made a precise shot to the right of Roel Van Leemputte. Excelsior Mullem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Rasmus Mårtensson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jorre Vercouteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Reynaerts in the 40th minute of play. Bjorn Clijsters hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Roel Van Leemputte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Wyns, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walter Wyns to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute Walter Wyns came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roel Van Leemputte. 0-5. Walter Wyns succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 56th playminute. Walter Wyns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Roel Van Leemputte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Excelsior Mullem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The referee gave AFC Madzuly a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Walter Wyns, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Excelsior Mullem's Roel Van Leemputte. 0-7. The supporters of Excelsior Mullem booed when AFC Madzuly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johny De Raeijmaecker didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Walter Wyns came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the AFC Madzuly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Wyns couldn't finish the play. Roel Van Leemputte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Wyns's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Roel Van Leemputte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Wyns in the 75th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Excelsior Mullem's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Wyns came free, but Roel Van Leemputte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roel Van Leemputte came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Madzuly's Walter Wyns. But to his dismay, Walter Wyns quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. The throw-in from Bjorn Clijsters in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC Madzuly's Cesar Raniers. If Walter Wyns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded AFC Madzuly left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Excelsior Mullem.
