After a defensive mix-up in Club Waulsort's zone, Walter Wyns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel came out of the goal and Walter Wyns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Walter Wyns notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Club Waulsort's Roger Van Clijnenbreugel. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Walter Wyns might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Van Clijnenbreugel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walter Wyns ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19 played minutes Club Waulsort got a freekick which was hit by Ian Smets. Ian Smets kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Wyns in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Van Clijnenbreugel saved Club Waulsort from getting behind. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Wyns's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. If Walter Wyns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, Walter Wyns dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roger Van Clijnenbreugel, 3-0. Walter Wyns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Wyns in the 36th minute of play. The AFC Madzuly fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when AFC Madzuly's Walter Wyns looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The throw-in from Ian Smets in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC Madzuly's Gustav Rousseau.

After having played for 52 minutes, Walter Wyns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Madzuly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Wyns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reemy Van Bael's late challenge caught a AFC Madzuly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reemy Van Bael helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Waulsort getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Reemy Van Bael hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, AFC Madzuly's Walter Wyns nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Walter Wyns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Van Clijnenbreugel having to make a save. In the 65th minute Walter Wyns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Van Clijnenbreugel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Wyns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Wyns in the 70th minute of play. Walter Wyns took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Van Clijnenbreugel. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Wyns went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Stein Dhondt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AFC Madzuly's Stein Dhondt got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Amaury Jooris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Rousseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Walter Wyns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AFC Madzuly had played much better football throughout.
