Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 5983, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jef Rouvoet started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Richey Neesens made a precise shot to the right of Bertan Helsens. Willemeau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffrey Valckeneers in the 16th minute of play forced Boechout's goalkeeper Antonio Van Geertruyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Boechout's Adam van haeve got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Willemeau's goalkeeper Bertan Helsens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeffrey Valckeneers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, Willemeau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stein Schouters to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Jef Rouvoet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boechout's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jef Rouvoet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Van Geertruyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Valckeneers in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Boechout's Jef Rouvoet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bertan Helsens. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd match minute, Willemeau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Van Deijck to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Van Geertruyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Valckeneers in the 56th minute of the match. If Guust Van der Vorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Boechout booed when Willemeau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stein Schouters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stein Schouters hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Bertan Helsens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam van haeve, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Jef Rouvoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertan Helsens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willemeau's Guust Van der Vorst got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Jeffrey Valckeneers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antonio Van Geertruyen. The goal made the score 2-1. Jef Rouvoet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bertan Helsens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertan Helsens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jef Rouvoet's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Jeffrey Valckeneers fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antonio Van Geertruyen, passed just outside the right post. Jeffrey Valckeneers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Van Geertruyen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Cederik Lache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Willemeau players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boechout.
