Spectators: 8038 (Terracing: 6029, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) Jef Rouvoet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armand Cesters during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Armand Cesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Van Geertruyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janes Schepmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Antonio Van Geertruyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janes Schepmans in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boechout's Richey Neesens got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to KFC Nudorp getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tommie Elzen hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Thibaud Van Hecke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Nudorp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Matthew Vergau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Antonio Van Geertruyen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibaud Van Hecke in the 39th minute of play forced Boechout's goalkeeper Antonio Van Geertruyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Van Geertruyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janes Schepmans in the 40th minute of play. Antonio Van Geertruyen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amaury Steckens went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Armand Cesters was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of KFC Nudorp booed when Boechout was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armand Cesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thibaud Van Hecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Antonio Van Geertruyen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thibaud Van Hecke made a kick off. Thibaud Van Hecke struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Antonio Van Geertruyen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Nudorp. Antonio Van Geertruyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiaan Vermeiren in the 54th minute of play. Adam van haeve kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Boechout's goalkeeper Antonio Van Geertruyen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Janes Schepmans. Antonio Van Geertruyen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Janes Schepmans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. After 62 played minutes Christiaan Vermeiren rounded Boechout's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. In the 67th match minute, KFC Nudorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Elzen to maneuver through the defense. When Richey Neesens fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boechout's protests and gave Richey Neesens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Richey Neesens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christiaan Vermeiren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antonio Van Geertruyen came out and tried to block the shot, but Christiaan Vermeiren slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 73rd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Boechout fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Andreas Van Der Meeren shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With an all-out effort, KFC Nudorp's Antonio Van Geertruyen threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amaury Steckens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andreas Van Der Meeren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Van Geertruyen having to interfere. Matthew Vergau took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Van Geertruyen. Antonio Van Geertruyen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. With a little luck, Boechout's Antonio Van Geertruyen got control of the ball when Janes Schepmans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boechout's Antonio Van Geertruyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiaan Vermeiren in the 90th minute of play. Antonio Van Geertruyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiaan Vermeiren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
