Zegelsem's Remco Feys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobus Elzen in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Octaaf Maes managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Matoekoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Octaaf Maes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remco Feys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remie Van Den Brande in the 9th minute of play forced De Matoekoes's goalkeeper Garry Imbereghs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobus Elzen hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. De Matoekoes's Garry Imbereghs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save De Matoekoes from getting a goal against them. De Matoekoes's Garry Imbereghs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Saelens in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Wart Keldermans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Mathis Grootaers made a precise shot to the right of Remco Feys. Zegelsem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Claude Wenderix hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Garry Imbereghs made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Arthur De Baere sent off a good shot on target. Frederik Valcke kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Wart Keldermans notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Zegelsem's Remco Feys. Remco Feys was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erwin-Alexander Van Hespe kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Mathis Grootaers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zegelsem's Remco Feys was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Wart Keldermans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remco Feys was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 39 minutes into the game, Diedrik Verdonk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Matoekoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zegelsem the free kick. Remco Feys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wart Keldermans, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Glen Saelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Imbereghs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wart Keldermans made a kick off. Octaaf Maes's late challenge caught a Zegelsem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octaaf Maes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to De Matoekoes getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Octaaf Maes hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Arthur De Baere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Imbereghs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Octaaf Maes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. The supporters of Zegelsem booed when De Matoekoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octaaf Maes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathis Grootaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remco Feys having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, De Matoekoes's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur De Baere came free, but Garry Imbereghs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Mathis Grootaers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remco Feys. The goal made the score 1-5. Mathis Grootaers struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Remco Feys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Matoekoes. When Zegelsem's Arthur De Baere in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Matoekoes's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, De Matoekoes's Jacobus Elzen got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Mathis Grootaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathis Grootaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Remco Feys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. De Matoekoes's Jacobus Elzen got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garry Imbereghs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glen Saelens in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur De Baere in the 92nd minute of play forced De Matoekoes's goalkeeper Garry Imbereghs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
