After a rather tough play, Speurdonk's Dean Van Bever got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Speurdonk's Axel Lindqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfred Robin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mattias Qvalfeldt took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Petersson. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The supporters of North Side booed when Speurdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Waeberghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Axel Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Robin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over North Side could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Speurdonk throughout the match.
