Spectators: 8536 (Terracing: 6403, Seating: 1963, VIP seats: 170) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgard Godefroid made the kick off which started today's match. Benjamin Van Cauwenbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Achterheide's goalkeeper Timmy Standaerts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. North Side were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after FC Achterheide's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jakob Vandamme took the corner. Bram Vanbuyten made a great header on North Side's corner, it was just that FC Achterheide's Timmy Standaerts managed to reach the ball for a save. North Side's Jakob Vandamme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Timmy Standaerts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edgard Godefroid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu-Maxim Neys having to interfere. Timmy Standaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Qvalfeldt in the 9th minute of play. Mathieu-Maxim Neys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert-Jan Geraerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, North Side's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Masculier came free, but Mathieu-Maxim Neys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantijn Kingsgaard hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC Achterheide's Timmy Standaerts got control of the ball when Mattias Qvalfeldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Achterheide's Timmy Standaerts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC Achterheide from getting a goal against them. If Geert-Jan Geraerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mattias Qvalfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Standaerts having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Qvalfeldt in the 37th minute of play forced FC Achterheide's goalkeeper Timmy Standaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathieu-Maxim Neys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantijn Kingsgaard in the 43rd minute of the match. Geert-Jan Geraerts took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathieu-Maxim Neys. Mathieu-Maxim Neys dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half FC Achterheide were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakob Vandamme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mathieu-Maxim Neys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantijn Kingsgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Sander De Messemaeckre kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When FC Achterheide's Geert-Jan Geraerts in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Side's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, North Side's Mathieu-Maxim Neys got control of the ball when Edgard Godefroid tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geert-Jan Geraerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu-Maxim Neys having to interfere. Mathieu-Maxim Neys made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Edgard Godefroid sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Geert-Jan Geraerts kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mathieu-Maxim Neys. That made the score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. FC Achterheide made a substitution. Norberto Granja replaced Jonas Örnberg. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Mathieu-Maxim Neys successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mathieu-Maxim Neys came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Achterheide's Geert-Jan Geraerts. But to his dismay, Geert-Jan Geraerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. A collision led to FC Achterheide getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Renaud Van Linthaut hit a great ball. Edgard Godefroid scored 0-6 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathieu-Maxim Neys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgard Godefroid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92nd play minutes Geert-Jan Geraerts shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Mathieu-Maxim Neys and just under the crossbar into goal. Edgard Godefroid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathieu-Maxim Neys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
