Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Speurdonk's Kris Waeberghe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Dynamo Marx's Boris Musseeuw ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andy Petersson. Andy Petersson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Boris Musseeuw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carel Huysmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Andy Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Kris Waeberghe notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dynamo Marx's Thys Geraerts. Thys Geraerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Speurdonk's goalkeeper Andy Petersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronald Theys. Speurdonk's Andy Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Theys in the 31st minute of play. Dynamo Marx were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Speurdonk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carel Huysmans took the corner. Andy Petersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesse Van Adorp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Tommas Verhaghe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Speurdonk's Andy Petersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Speurdonk from getting a goal against them. Boris Musseeuw could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Andy Petersson made a huge save. Andy Petersson was a little too slow when Ronald Theys got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Boris Musseeuw made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Even Rust in the 53rd minute of play forced Dynamo Marx's goalkeeper Thys Geraerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Lindqvist during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Speurdonk getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Axel Lindqvist hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Speurdonk's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Theys came free, but Andy Petersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Petersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen Imbreghts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Boris Musseeuw sped through Speurdonk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andy Petersson. Andy Petersson came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Dynamo Marx's Glen Imbreghts. But to his dismay, Glen Imbreghts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 65 minutes into the match, Glen Imbreghts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Petersson. Speurdonk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glen Imbreghts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Andy Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Musseeuw in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Boris Musseeuw managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Marx's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Musseeuw was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Petersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute Kris Waeberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thys Geraerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Speurdonk's Andy Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Musseeuw in the 78th minute of play. When Wes Waegemans fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Speurdonk's protests and gave Wes Waegemans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Wes Waegemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andy Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glen Imbreghts, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 89th minute Dynamo Marx were awarded a corner. Carel Huysmans went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Dynamo Marx's corner Carel Huysmans fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andy Petersson quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boris Musseeuw in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Petersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even Rust hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Dynamo Marx were the better team. Dynamo Marx's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
