Ray Van Gorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mars Overmark in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lichten's Andries Rompen got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ilídio Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octaaf Nijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mars Overmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Youri Spailer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Ilídio Malafaia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ray Van Gorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries Rompen, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Octaaf Nijs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilídio Malafaia. Lichten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octaaf Nijs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduard Martyschuk during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's Eduard Martyschuk got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ray Van Gorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Bienienda, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ray Van Gorp came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Lichten's Aureliusz Bienienda. But to his dismay, Aureliusz Bienienda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youri Spailer got free with Ilídio Malafaia in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th match minute, Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bronislovas Ačas to maneuver through the defense. Mars Overmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Van Gorp having to interfere. Ilídio Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octaaf Nijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lichten fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Lichten's Mars Overmark looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octaaf Nijs to make the kick off. Jonathan Van Leempten lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 51 minutes into the game, one of Lichten:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Axel Coomans took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilídio Malafaia. Ilídio Malafaia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of Lichten booed when Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Martyschuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduard Martyschuk kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Aureliusz Bienienda notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's Ray Van Gorp. Ray Van Gorp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eduard Martyschuk kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ray Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mars Overmark in the 75th minute of play. Eduard Martyschuk hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Aureliusz Bienienda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lichten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliusz Bienienda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Fermín Durango hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Rob De Neuter. 94 minutes into the match, Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's Octaaf Nijs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilídio Malafaia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
