Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silver Squad AFC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 15th minute of play forced Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's goalkeeper Ray Van Gorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Matthy Verduijn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Octaaf Nijs hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Carberry came free, but Ray Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octaaf Nijs in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Carberry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ray Van Gorp was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Rogério Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Coomans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Waud De Geyter. Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute, Benjamin Carberry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ray Van Gorp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Damazy Radzyminski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ray Van Gorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Martyschuk. In the 35th minute, Benjamin Carberry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ray Van Gorp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ray Van Gorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Silver Squad AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Coomans was slow to take the kick. During this time Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Axel Coomans got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Waud De Geyter quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 43 played minutes Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Axel Coomans. Ray Van Gorp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Carberry's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Carberry to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Damazy Radzyminski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ray Van Gorp, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's zone, Frans Van Caubergen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray Van Gorp came out of the goal and Frans Van Caubergen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Silver Squad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Paiva. In the 64th minute Octaaf Nijs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Carberry in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Van Gorp saved Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda from getting behind. Ray Van Gorp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Radzyminski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real F.C. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octaaf Nijs, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd match minute, Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Coomans to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match, Damazy Radzyminski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ray Van Gorp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frans Van Caubergen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ray Van Gorp firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match was over Silver Squad AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda throughout the match.
