Aureliusz Bienienda in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teun Verbraecken, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Octave Rijmenams hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Elias Verdonk fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LeRoeulx's protests and gave Elias Verdonk a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Verdonk kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Lichten got a freekick which was hit by Octave Rijmenams. Ilídio Malafaia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rik Winnepennincks's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, LeRoeulx's goal looked a bit too open when Mars Overmark came free, but Teun Verbraecken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilídio Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jabbar De Roeulx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mars Overmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lichten's Ilídio Malafaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rik Winnepennincks in the 33rd minute of play. Teun Verbraecken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andries Rompen went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Teun Verbraecken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mars Overmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 41 played minutes Lichten got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Van Leempten. In the 42nd minute of the match Jabbar De Roeulx sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilídio Malafaia skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The wind increased when Mars Overmark made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Jonathan Van Leempten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lichten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LeRoeulx the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Lichten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Van Leempten to maneuver through the defense. Teun Verbraecken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Bienienda in the 58th minute of the match. Ilídio Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rik Winnepennincks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 63 in the game by Tomé De Roeulx from a close distance when the talented Ilídio Malafaia managed to make a qualified save. Lichten's players were relieved. Lichten's supporters rose to their feet, but Mars Overmark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teun Verbraecken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jabbar De Roeulx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ilídio Malafaia made a huge save. LeRoeulx's Teun Verbraecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries Rompen in the 71st minute of play. Octave Rijmenams kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, LeRoeulx's Ilídio Malafaia threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rik Winnepennincks, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. LeRoeulx's Teun Verbraecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Bienienda in the 79th minute of play. Teun Verbraecken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliusz Bienienda's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Bienienda in the 88th minute of play forced LeRoeulx's goalkeeper Teun Verbraecken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilídio Malafaia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rik Winnepennincks in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes, Dominic De Malier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LeRoeulx and the Lichten players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to LeRoeulx getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dominic De Malier hit a great ball. LeRoeulx's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
