Ilídio Malafaia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aureliusz Bienienda hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Benjamin Carberry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lichten's Ilídio Malafaia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Carberry was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Silver Squad AFC booed when Lichten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffe Suteweij didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilídio Malafaia made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Izydor Czysta sent off a good shot on target. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mars Overmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Benjamin Carberry notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lichten's Ilídio Malafaia. Benjamin Carberry scored 0-5 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilídio Malafaia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Andries Rompen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Bror Litenboks in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lichten's Steffe Suteweij. Silver Squad AFC played a much better game than Lichten and deserved their victory. The Lichten players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
