A collision led to FC Soldeu getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Andy Bartlett hit a great ball. Andy Renner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. CA Piratas's Elano Pimenta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save CA Piratas from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute FC Soldeu were awarded a corner. Ed Potterton went to the cornerflag to take it. Ed Potterton made a great header on FC Soldeu's corner, it was just that CA Piratas's Elano Pimenta managed to reach the ball for a save. The CA Piratas fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when CA Piratas's Vrasidas Arkadis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 18 minutes into the match, CA Piratas's goalkeeper Elano Pimenta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Bâru. FC Soldeu's Andy Renner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vrasidas Arkadis in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, FC Soldeu's Scott Le Saux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elano Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Andy Renner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Quinito in the 27th minute of play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Vrasidas Arkadis sped through FC Soldeu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andy Renner. A collision led to CA Piratas getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ciriaco Chinto hit a great ball. Scott Le Saux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Elano Pimenta made a huge save. In the 37th minute Scott Le Saux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Darren Blewitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CA Piratas! 2-2 came in the 44th minute when Scott Le Saux all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Elano Pimenta. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scott Le Saux to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Soldeu's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Quinito came free, but Andy Renner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tristan Lodge was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Quinito in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Renner saved FC Soldeu from getting behind. Vrasidas Arkadis made a great header on CA Piratas's corner, it was just that FC Soldeu's Andy Renner managed to reach the ball for a save. 64 minutes into the match, CA Piratas's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Blewitt came free, but Elano Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Casimiro Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Renner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CA Piratas defense, Scott Le Saux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elano Pimenta. The CA Piratas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elano Pimenta should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Nestor Bâru notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of CA Piratas's Elano Pimenta. Elano Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elano Pimenta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Scott Le Saux's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The corner led FC Soldeu's Andy Bartlett to fire away a dangerous shot which Elano Pimenta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 95 played minutes CA Piratas got a freekick which was hit by John Paul Wicks. Elano Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed Potterton, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. FC Soldeu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CA Piratas for a fine match.
