Lamar McCracken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Renner having to make a save. In the 11th minute, Shaun Grigg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 14 minutes into the game, FC Soldeu's Nestor Bâru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Maher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 20th minute, Dave Aragon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hayti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Diego Traylor hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Diego Traylor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hayti FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Soldeu the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hayti FC's Diego Traylor got a free kick in the 27th minute. Hayti FC's Eliseo Maher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Hayti FC from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Maher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Bâru in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Darren Blewitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Maher was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With his leg Eliseo Maher managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when FC Soldeu's Scott Le Saux fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 40 minutes into the match, Darren Blewitt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseo Maher. Hayti FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darren Blewitt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Eliseo Maher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Le Saux, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Randolph Larson hit a great ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hayti FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Maher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darren Blewitt struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Eliseo Maher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Soldeu. Eliseo Maher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Hayti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Preston Hardy to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Hayti FC defense, Nestor Bâru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Maher. The Hayti FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Maher should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Diego Traylor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Soldeu's Scott Le Saux in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hayti FC's goalie prevented a goal. Diego Traylor hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the FC Soldeu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
