The tension between the Mehadia CS and the Goranesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Iosif Brezeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Brezeanu in the 21st minute of play forced Mehadia CS's goalkeeper Eliodor Ficsinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iosif Brezeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. The Goranesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
