Tudor Taşcă ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute Nistor Dulgherescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Brumă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihăiţă Brumă came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Apostarii FC's Viorel Ciuvică. But to his dismay, Viorel Ciuvică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Mihăiţă Brumă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Diagur's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Taşcă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Diagur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Mihăiţă Brumă made a huge save. Mihăiţă Brumă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Taşcă in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tudor Taşcă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihăiţă Brumă was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Tudor Taşcă scored 0-9 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihăiţă Brumă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Panait Ghionescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihăiţă Brumă. That made the score 0-12 in the 74 minute of play. Pedro Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mihăiţă Brumă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, CFR Cluj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Blaga to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Nistor Dulgherescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Mihăiţă Brumă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Nistor Dulgherescu put it in 0-14 from a short distance just to the right of Mihăiţă Brumă. Tudor Taşcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Apostarii FC's Pedro Diagur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihăiţă Brumă. That made the score 0-15 after 87 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Pedro Diagur took a quick shot and it went in 0-16 without a chance for Mihăiţă Brumă to make any attempt to save it. Tudor Taşcă made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 93rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Mihăiţă Brumă would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-17 when Tudor Taşcă sped through CFR Cluj's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihăiţă Brumă.
