The audience was convinced that Traian Stejaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihăiţă Brumă was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CFR Cluj's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Brumă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CFR Cluj's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Remus Rada scored to the left of an out of position Mihăiţă Brumă, making the score, 0-6. Remus Rada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Brumă having to interfere. In the 62nd minute of the match Mihăiţă Ilieș shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihăiţă Brumă showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA VLP's Mihnea Budulea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihăiţă Brumă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of CFR Cluj booed when FC BARCELONA VLP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Colceriu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remus Rada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihăiţă Brumă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Mihăiţă Brumă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC BARCELONA VLP's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
