The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Taşcă got free with Vintilă Tiberiu in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vintilă Tiberiu was a little too slow when Tudor Taşcă got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Pedro Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, MARIUS MARCOV's Vintilă Tiberiu got control of the ball when Tudor Taşcă tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, MARIUS MARCOV's Petruț Buteanu got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute, Costică Tăcutu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Lipan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Alex Lipan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Tăcutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, MARIUS MARCOV's Petruț Buteanu got a free kick in the 34th minute. Nistor Dulgherescu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Alex Lipan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkın Berksan, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Vintilă Tiberiu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Apostarii FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nistor Dulgherescu hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, MARIUS MARCOV's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Taşcă came free, but Vintilă Tiberiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

MARIUS MARCOV's Nicu Levițchi was substituted for Costică Tăcutu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Taşcă was the one to do the kick off. Alex Lipan was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Henri-Xavier Engelborghs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henri-Xavier Engelborghs really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Alkın Berksan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alex Lipan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henri-Xavier Engelborghs kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petruț Buteanu in the 62nd minute of play forced Apostarii FC's goalkeeper Alex Lipan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Taşcă in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vintilă Tiberiu saved MARIUS MARCOV from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Apostarii FC's goalkeeper Alex Lipan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicu Levițchi. Pedro Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Tudor Taşcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Tiberiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Apostarii FC's Tudor Taşcă, in the 74th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Apostarii FC. Nistor Dulgherescu charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nistor Dulgherescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Apostarii FC got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Dulgherescu. Vintilă Tiberiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Ghionescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84th play minutes Tudor Taşcă shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Vintilă Tiberiu and just under the crossbar into goal. 86 minutes into the game, Dumitru Bratu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apostarii FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARIUS MARCOV the free kick. 92 minutes into the match, MARIUS MARCOV's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Ghionescu came free, but Vintilă Tiberiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Panait Ghionescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Apostarii FC booed when MARIUS MARCOV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Ghiurutan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Taşcă struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Vintilă Tiberiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apostarii FC. Alex Lipan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Buteanu in the 97th minute of play. Apostarii FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
