Nicu Grecea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Ştiubei in the 6th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Moise Ştiubei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Grecea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Martin Niculcea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Last Stylebender's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Niculcea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihăiţă Brumă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Moise Ştiubei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CFR Cluj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Last Stylebender the free kick. In the 28th match minute, CFR Cluj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Ştiubei to maneuver through the defense. Mihăiţă Brumă made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gregoire Zihler sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Niculcea in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihăiţă Brumă saved CFR Cluj from getting behind. In the 47th match minute, Last Stylebender was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Gheondea to maneuver through the defense. Nechifor Zbârciog missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 48 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nicu Grecea right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gică Craioveanu to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Martin Niculcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Brumă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CFR Cluj's Mihăiţă Brumă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Niculcea in the 57th minute of play. Mihăiţă Brumă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Craioveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Nechifor Zbârciog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Nicu Grecea made a huge save. Traian Pânzaru kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, CFR Cluj's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Lăzan came free, but Mihăiţă Brumă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihăiţă Brumă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Craioveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Martin Niculcea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihăiţă Brumă. CFR Cluj's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Niculcea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Mihăiţă Brumă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Kouvaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CFR Cluj's Dorel Barboni got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Gregoire Zihler suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Leonard Dabija fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CFR Cluj's protests and gave Leonard Dabija a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CFR Cluj's Leonard Dabija got a free kick in the 85th minute. Gică Craioveanu took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihăiţă Brumă. Mihăiţă Brumă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 94 minutes of play, Last Stylebender's Gică Craioveanu made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihăiţă Brumă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Last Stylebender's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
