An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Adomniței in the 4th minute of play forced C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Werner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calistrat Pascaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peppe Mascara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustin Radu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jan-Joost Werner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrés Silvera, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Peppe Mascara got a free kick in the 16th minute. A hard shot 17 in the game by Eliodor Puiu from a close distance when the talented Jan-Joost Werner managed to make a qualified save. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's players were relieved. Jan-Joost Werner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Toader Oniga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Calistrat Pascaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peppe Mascara in the 21st minute of play. In the 28th minute Gavril Bucur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Pascaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gavril Bucur managed to get in a good position for a shot. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavril Bucur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calistrat Pascaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Minerul Baia Mare's goal looked a bit too open when Gavril Bucur came free, but Calistrat Pascaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marin Covrig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Pascaru having to interfere. Ionică Nacu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Minerul Baia Mare's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Covrig came free, but Calistrat Pascaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a corner. Minerul Baia Mare's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lars Malmgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gavril Bucur hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Andrés Silvera kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Bucur in the 45th minute of play forced Minerul Baia Mare's goalkeeper Calistrat Pascaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Minerul Baia Mare booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Bucur didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gavril Bucur to strike the kick off in the second half. After 62 played minutes Minerul Baia Mare got a freekick which was hit by Christian Sabino. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L made a substitution. Gabríel Cristofor replaced Marin Covrig. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baia Mare's Christian Sabino got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 67th match minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Boltașu to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Ionel Ciompec shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Joost Werner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 72nd match minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esdras Negro to maneuver through the defense. Minerul Baia Mare's Calistrat Pascaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Bucur in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Gabríel Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabríel Cristofor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calistrat Pascaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabríel Cristofor in the 87th minute of the match. Gabríel Cristofor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Calistrat Pascaru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Minerul Baia Mare were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L for a fine match.
