Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimosthenis Horiatis in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khariklo Harames saved Dhráganon FC from getting behind. Apoel Stars's Thoralf Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Apoel Stars from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Thrinakie Pagonis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thoralf Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akhilleus Pappageorge in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Dimosthenis Horiatis made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dhráganon FC's Khariklo Harames tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Thodoris Kakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dhráganon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apoel Stars the free kick. Thodoris Kakos hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Dimosthenis Horiatis notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dhráganon FC's Khariklo Harames. Khariklo Harames was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28thth minute of the game Dimosthenis Horiatis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dhráganon FC's Khariklo Harames was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30th play minutes Dimosthenis Horiatis shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Khariklo Harames and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Dhráganon FC defense, Thrinakie Pagonis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khariklo Harames. The Dhráganon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khariklo Harames should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Dhráganon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimosthenis Horiatis came free, but Khariklo Harames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Dhráganon FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Thodoris Kakos hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Thrinakie Pagonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khariklo Harames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofoklis Antonopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Zinon Argitakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Thoralf Hong made a huge save. Dimosthenis Horiatis took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khariklo Harames. Khariklo Harames dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sofoklis Antonopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thoralf Hong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sofoklis Antonopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Sofoklis Antonopoulos's late challenge caught a Apoel Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sofoklis Antonopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Dhráganon FC got a freekick which was hit by Sofoklis Antonopoulos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimosthenis Horiatis got free with Khariklo Harames in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Apoel Stars's Lykomedes Demas to fire away a dangerous shot which Khariklo Harames despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Khariklo Harames made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimosthenis Horiatis in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Dimosthenis Horiatis lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Khariklo Harames. With 82 minutes on the clock, Kheiron Balouris commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 83 played minutes Apoel Stars got a freekick which was hit by Kheiron Balouris. After 84 played minutes, Dhráganon FC's Daidalos Moraitopoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thoralf Hong came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dhráganon FC reached it. Thrinakie Pagonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Khariklo Harames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apoel Stars's Thoralf Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thodoris Kakos in the 87th minute of play. Khariklo Harames made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan-Carlos Dios in the 89th minute. Lykomedes Demas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Khariklo Harames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Thrinakie Pagonis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khariklo Harames. That made the score 0-8 in the 94 minute of play. Apoel Stars played a much better game than Dhráganon FC and deserved their victory. The Dhráganon FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
