The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manos Tsarouhtsis during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omiros Stathopoulos in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fanis Villas saved AEK KOUKLION from getting behind. Khariklo Harames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patroklos Orfanos in the 10th minute of the match. Omiros Stathopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fanis Villas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Sofoklis Antonopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sofoklis Antonopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AEK KOUKLION booed when Dhráganon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofoklis Antonopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kadmos Paraskevopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khariklo Harames having to interfere. Khariklo Harames didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AEK KOUKLION's Patroklos Orfanos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kadmos Paraskevopoulos in the 21st minute of play forced Dhráganon FC's goalkeeper Khariklo Harames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Dhráganon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kadmos Paraskevopoulos came free, but Khariklo Harames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Kadmos Paraskevopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK KOUKLION's supporters rose to their feet, but Kadmos Paraskevopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khariklo Harames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thodoris Kakos charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thodoris Kakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Dhráganon FC got a freekick which was hit by Thodoris Kakos. Kadmos Paraskevopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khariklo Harames having to interfere. Zinon Argitakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fanis Villas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zinon Argitakos ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, AEK KOUKLION's Oileus Skandalis got a free kick in the 34th minute. Omiros Stathopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oileus Skandalis hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th match minute, AEK KOUKLION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkas Picoulas to maneuver through the defense. If Zinon Argitakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zinon Argitakos struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Fanis Villas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dhráganon FC. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omiros Stathopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Fanis Villas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omiros Stathopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zinon Argitakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, AEK KOUKLION's Manos Tsarouhtsis got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Daidalos Moraitopoulos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fanis Villas. AEK KOUKLION's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 67 minutes, Omiros Stathopoulos made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. AEK KOUKLION's Fanis Villas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zinon Argitakos struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Fanis Villas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dhráganon FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omiros Stathopoulos in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fanis Villas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oileus Skandalis during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The attack was good, but when Omiros Stathopoulos in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. AEK KOUKLION's Fanis Villas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinon Argitakos in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to AEK KOUKLION getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Arkas Picoulas hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Zinon Argitakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omiros Stathopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Villas having to interfere. When Dhráganon FC's Zinon Argitakos in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AEK KOUKLION's goalie prevented a goal. Patroklos Orfanos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khariklo Harames read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Dhráganon FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
