Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferhan Balaban started the match with the kick off. Gürcan Vedat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuratay Akşit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the İZMİT SK defense, Gürcan Vedat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuratay Akşit. The İZMİT SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuratay Akşit should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Feke's Selçuk Sehim got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ferhan Balaban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sezer Serdinç having to make a save. İZMİT SK's Berkant Başaran got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Behzat Pekel might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuratay Akşit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Behzat Pekel ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Ferhan Balaban dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sezer Serdinç, 1-1. Feke's Gürcan Vedat got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Ferhan Balaban rounded Feke's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Nuratay Akşit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürcan Vedat's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Behzat Pekel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nuratay Akşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Gürcan Vedat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Nuratay Akşit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sezer Serdinç made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Berkant Başaran sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gürcan Vedat was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ahmet Arif Taykara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd play minute Behzat Pekel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nuratay Akşit. 2-4. In the 56th minute Gürcan Vedat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuratay Akşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sezer Serdinç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferhan Balaban's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Behzat Pekel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Nuratay Akşit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 played minutes İZMİT SK got a freekick which was hit by Nejat Alp Pamir. If Behzat Pekel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, İZMİT SK's Berkant Başaran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sezer Serdinç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gürcan Vedat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuratay Akşit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürcan Vedat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Osman Ali Sabir fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İZMİT SK's protests and gave Osman Ali Sabir a yellow card for diving instead. Osman Ali Sabir kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Behzat Pekel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nuratay Akşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, İZMİT SK's Nuratay Akşit got control of the ball when Semail Özek tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Nuratay Akşit managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Feke's Behzat Pekel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Behzat Pekel came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Feke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Behzat Pekel couldn't finish the play. In the 86th match minute, İZMİT SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil Can Gezer to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Semail Özek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuratay Akşit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zülfikar Kazanhan went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. The İZMİT SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Feke were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
