Brampton City's Jawad Al Qatam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nizar Khaja in the 21st minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Penistone's Nizar Khaja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jawad Al Qatam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Nizar Khaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jawad Al Qatam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nizar Khaja in the 35th minute of play. Naem Al Habshi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jawad Al Qatam having to make a save. Wael Al Gareb charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wael Al Gareb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Wael Al Gareb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ameer Al Dabos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayoob Taiban having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ameer Al Dabos made a kick off. Karem Al Sohali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abbas Khaja in the 53rd minute of play forced Penistone's goalkeeper Ayoob Taiban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Shjae Al Shaikh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ayoob Taiban showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ayoob Taiban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ameer Al Dabos in the 57th minute of the match. If Abbas Khaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Brampton City's goal looked a bit too open when Nizar Khaja came free, but Jawad Al Qatam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Penistone's goalkeeper Ayoob Taiban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Naem Al Habshi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jawad Al Qatam having to interfere. Ayoob Taiban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ameer Al Dabos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. During the 87th minute of the match Wael Al Gareb completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wael Al Gareb a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Brampton City's Wael Al Gareb got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Nizar Khaja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penistone's supporters rose to their feet, but Nizar Khaja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jawad Al Qatam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Nizar Khaja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
