The audience thought a goal was coming when Sadeq Al Ali got free with Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Sadeq Al Ali sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, FC Medina's Sharf Al Mofede ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Horváth in the 17th minute of play forced Barrow upon Humber City's goalkeeper Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sharf Al Mofede's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sharf Al Mofede in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sharf Al Mofede in the 25th minute of play forced Barrow upon Humber City's goalkeeper Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Sharf Al Mofede managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Medina's supporters rose to their feet, but Sharf Al Mofede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the FC Medina defense, Fakher Al Fadhalah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gawhar Dashti. The FC Medina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gawhar Dashti should have stopped the shot. After 32 played minutes Barrow upon Humber City got a freekick which was hit by Bashar Al Mahmed. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sharf Al Mofede in the 35th minute of play. After 41st play minutes Krisztián Horváth shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod and just under the crossbar into goal. Sadeq Al Ali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Yaseen Abol's late challenge caught a FC Medina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yaseen Abol helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Barrow upon Humber City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaseen Abol to maneuver through the defense. Sharf Al Mofede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Sharf Al Mofede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sadeq Al Ali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Barrow upon Humber City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod should have stopped the shot. Jassem Al Asuosi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sadeq Al Ali in the 70th minute of the match. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sharf Al Mofede in the 72nd minute of play. Bashar Abo Al Hasan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Medina had played much better football throughout.
