An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayoob Al Shemali in the 18th minute of play forced Penistone's goalkeeper Ayoob Taiban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naem Al Habshi in the 24th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Barrow upon Humber City got a freekick which was hit by Barrak Al Rodhan. Ayoob Taiban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ayoob Al Shemali in the 30th minute of the match. When Bashar Al Mahmed came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Barrow upon Humber City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bashar Al Mahmed couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Penistone's Jarah Shrean got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Barrow upon Humber City's Ayoob Al Shemali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ayoob Taiban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Penistone booed when Barrow upon Humber City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fakher Al Fadhalah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nizar Khaja to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Yaseen Abol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrow upon Humber City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penistone the free kick. Yaseen Abol hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Nizar Khaja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Penistone's goal looked a bit too open when Ayoob Al Shemali came free, but Ayoob Taiban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fakher Al Fadhalah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ayoob Taiban having to make a save. Ayoob Taiban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fakher Al Fadhalah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fakher Al Fadhalah struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ayoob Taiban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrow upon Humber City. 79 minutes into the match, Barrow upon Humber City's goalkeeper Abdul Rahman Al Hadhod had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naem Al Habshi. Penistone's Naem Al Habshi got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Fakher Al Fadhalah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayoob Taiban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Barrow upon Humber City support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
