Spectators: 9761 (Terracing: 7050, Seating: 2495, VIP seats: 216) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sultan Bahroh started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Fahhad Al Rodhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horsham AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fahhad Al Rodhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esmael Baroun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saif Al Hajri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basel Al Azmi in the 5th minute of the match. Fahhad Al Rodhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esmael Baroun having to interfere. Esmael Baroun was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gawhar Al Matrok. Saif Al Hajri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basel Al Azmi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sultan Bahroh came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kuwait SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sultan Bahroh couldn't finish the play. Morad Bo Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Esmael Baroun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Sultan Bahroh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saif Al Hajri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakem Boften, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Saif Al Hajri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sultan Bahroh in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sultan Bahroh in the 33rd minute of play forced Horsham AFC's goalkeeper Saif Al Hajri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Morad Bo Abbas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Esmael Baroun, passed just outside the right post. In the 43rd minute Basel Al Azmi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saif Al Hajri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saif Al Hajri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sultan Bahroh in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sultan Bahroh in the 46th minute of play forced Horsham AFC's goalkeeper Saif Al Hajri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Basel Al Azmi took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saif Al Hajri. Saif Al Hajri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 55 minutes into the match, Horsham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sultan Bahroh came free, but Saif Al Hajri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Horsham AFC booed when Kuwait SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basel Al Azmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saif Al Hajri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sultan Bahroh in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Sultan Bahroh recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saif Al Hajri. Sultan Bahroh showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. With a little luck, Horsham AFC's Saif Al Hajri got control of the ball when Basel Al Azmi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Kuwait SC booed when Horsham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riad Al Abdullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sultan Bahroh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saif Al Hajri came out and tried to block the shot, but Sultan Bahroh slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakem Boften got free with Saif Al Hajri in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Morad Bo Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Basel Al Azmi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Kuwait SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basel Al Azmi couldn't finish the play. Fahhad Al Rodhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Horsham AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kuwait SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Kuwait SC.
