The tension between the Toa Payoh Town and the Geadling players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Toa Payoh Town's Gage Kool got a free kick in the 37th minute. A collision led to Toa Payoh Town getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jonathan Abisheganaden hit a great ball. After the first half Toa Payoh Town were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Prime Paine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geadling's Amirul Hsin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 56 played minutes Prime Paine could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-2 into the left cross. Amirul Hsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prime Paine in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Toa Payoh Town's Jonathan Chandran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Jonathan Chandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Amirul Hsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Jonathan Chandran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amirul Hsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prime Paine in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jonathan Chandran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toa Payoh Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Chandran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amirul Hsin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amirul Hsin made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Prime Paine sent off a good shot on target. Toa Payoh Town's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
