A wasted opportunity for NFH Family United. 16 minutes into the game, Bineesh Soon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oakham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NFH Family United the free kick. After 17 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Bineesh Soon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Rajah in the 19th minute of play forced NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Koh in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Oakham got a corner. NFH Family United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Asiz Rajah ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jithu Rajah kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Alexander Sum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Koh in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Bineesh Soon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the game, Mark Chian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bryan Hui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bryan Hui made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ang Chew sent off a good shot on target. Bryan Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Chian in the 42nd minute of play. NFH Family United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wong Sophie in the 44th minute. Jerry Soon tried in the game's 44th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Bryan Hui. An annoying self made goal, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to NFH Family United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Azli Abisheganaden hit a great ball. With a little luck, NFH Family United's Alexander Sum got control of the ball when Wong Butcher tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 61 played minutes NFH Family United got a freekick which was hit by Victor Tan. In the 62nd minute, Asiz Rajah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 minutes NFH Family United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Asiz Rajah who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of NFH Family United's goalie and right to Gara Chian. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. NFH Family United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bryan Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jithu Rajah in the 67th minute of play. Mark Chian kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, NFH Family United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Chian to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muhammad Singh. Alexander Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wong Butcher in the 79th minute of play. Wong Butcher hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Ang Chew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Hui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, NFH Family United's Wong Sophie got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Asiz Rajah reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexander Sum. The goal made the score 2-1. 94 minutes into the game, Zack Tuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NFH Family United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakham the free kick.
